I am very sorry to hear that. I deeply condemn the actions by such culprits. Though i haven't purchased nor donated you a penny yet (which i think i would not do so when my income raises :) ), i am great fan for your stunning professional themes and appreciate your high quality and creative work. La vida es dura, pero no por eso te des por vencido, entiendo tu situacion, en verdad es una lastima lo que te ha sucedido, pero existe gente asi. Sino mira la pagina de mercadolibre de ecuador, donde te venden cds llenos de aplicaciones, temas, juegos, etc. que son freeware y los consigues en internet gratis.
No te des por vencido.
Lo mismo paso con Samir, (del famoso rotateme), alguien que dono para descargar su mas reciente version, lo subio enseguida el internet para que lo descargue todo el mundo sin donar
Esto lo menciono, para aclarar que no seria ninguna solucion que tus increibles temas se puedan descargar solo previa donacion.
Muchos animos Pizero, en verdad si dejas de crear tus temas, nos vas a hacer mucha falta. =(

I read your post and it's true this stuff is pretty frustrating but always has happened, is happening and will happen. Don't get too crazy.
I think you're not gonna be able to change all of this which is happening to you. The problem is for the people who are buying these themes. I'll explain to u with an example:
imagine if I buy a brand new car, to be precise a Audi TT, and I pay 30.000€. Tomorrow I decide to resell it for 50.000€. One person comes over and buy it without knowing that he could have bought it in any Audi shop. Do you think Audi is gonna come over to reproach me for what I did? No because the problem is of the guy who bought it. I would be a shameless but he saw the Audi's logo but didn't check the price in the official shop.
In handango they are doing the same. They show your name "by pizero.net" and the people who buy it don't bother themselves checking the official site: "www.pizero.net".
Please, don't give up! We are all with you.

Of course I will not give up doing themes for this stupid thing, but this makes me loose a little enjoyment in what I do.
However, I would like to focus the point that Handango is not the main cause of what happened. THe fact is that everybody can register, sign a contract, and start selling. I think they don't control every file that is put for sale, because it would take much resources. (But I think they could easilty however!)
The only thing that I'm blaming to handango, is that the support service is not fast enough. I mailed them on the beginning of the week, and I hopefully expected to resolve the issue within 24 hours. Unfortunately, it seems that they don't care much about what happended, and the issue is still here after 5 days.

Theft is bad, but not solving legal issues concerning licenses and content, is worse. I'll write these days on my subscribed forums about Handango and its practices and I'll suggest a boycott against it.
After all, that's much about we can do. And, of course, donate / pay for these beautiful themes!

and maybe u don't know, almost all of Chinese don't understand why download resourses like phone themes should be paid. We were taught to be no stealing and no violation of the rights when we were kids, but we don't think download things from internet and crack software is a violation or illegal, further more, we don't think phone themes can be purchased into money
In China, people make themes for fun, ive never seen people sell them, even if someone sell themes, i definitely sure that NO ONE will buy.
We use computer softwares such like Norton Anti-virus software, Kaspersky8.0, 7.0, 6.0, Mcafee, ESET, etc. they are all cracked by someone and we are free download and use them.
We use phone softwares such like Nokia Maps(all functions are available), Lonely Cat Games softwares, Handy softwares, Resco, even N-GAGE(including all the games) are cracked, and we just use them free, because they are very easy to be cracked.
Why this? why we don't pay for them? that's really a big question!
maybe it just a mind in our brain -- it can be easily cracked and used,why we getting ourselves into troubles to pay for the money and do lots of trouble things.
Once i asked my boss why don't buy Anti-virus softwares?(in my company, Kaspersky Anti-virus software is cracked ), he answered, why put the free things down and paid the bad money...
there is no denying that ur themes are the top themes in the world, but i don't think i have so much money to buy them. e.g
a theme=10$=70RMB=48 bottles of coke cola.
oh,shoot! even the theme is pretty awesome, i would rather to prefer cola.
and also Anti-virus softwares are always very expensive,(i know there are some free editions such like AVG, AVIRA) little part of ppl would like to spend hundreds of YUAN to buy them.
Mr.Pizero, i'm here not to offense u, just tell a situation in China,
but i do not shame fot I am a Chinese, u know i can't change it, I really like ur themes and i will buy them if i was born in US.
that's it, hope u can understand me or this situation...(i know it seems unacceptable)

I realize and share your concerns, because there are a lot of people doing bad things on Internet, like you talk in your post. But this shouldn't to stop doing your job/hobbie. Many people, like me, appreciate your efforts and generosity of creating themes for free, and also for the premium themes.
One solution can be create a register form for the habitual users, free of course, that allows you to control who comes to the web, who dowloaded this and discover who acts on suspicious way. It's only an idea. I only want to help you.

It is correct that they have a problem the minute you inform that about the fraud - you also need the information about the seller, and for that you need to have a judicial authority.
Go and sue Handango - this will be the best you can do (for your matter and for the world of S60). Do not forget to sue them for the money THEY got from selling illegal software (from the guy whole sold) - believe me: its not an easy situation for handango, and if they turn out to be that lazy - get them!!

I think that the themes that you provide are absolutely awesome and I feel that these people who are trying to profit from it are so unethical. I hope that if people like your themes enough that they'll look for your site and realize the themes are free and will continue to pay/use

Thanks for the free themes. The glassy iPhone-like ones are absolutely gorgeous... from the preview anyway. I can't test them - I purchased an N82 two weeks ago, but the shipment it was supposed to arrive with got stopped at customs, citing a lack of papers. The company I ordered it through sent through the papers, but received no reply. Bureaucracy... zzz.
I wish you the best of luck with your claims; at least you're well-known among most of the skin-building community, and a lot of people will recognise your work.
Would you mind if I interviewed you? Just send you a few questions about how you got into theme building, what inspires you, how you manage your workflow, and then publish the interview on my site?

Yes, I read all. I understand your felling now, and I just want to tell you that lots of things had happened and are happening arount the world.
Have a look at Micrsoft Operating System, XP, Vista, as well Office 2007. I am a user too, and do you know what I am using now? Of course, it is the free one and unlocked.
The problem is that the copyrights was changed, but not the users. I never modify that, however I can do that. I know that everybody do the free thing as a hobby. Like me, I did the Garmin GPS software installation trainning. To support it for free, just because my hobby.
I have 2 suggestions for you:
1. If you fell that the all things are your interesting, and want to share with other people to enjoy them, PLEASE DONT GIVE UP MAKING THEMES.
2. If you thought your copyright was violated, you can sell themes.
PLEASE MAKE YOUSELF HAPPY, but NOT THE USER.

And again it just makes sick to my stomach... petty theft, petty people, petty conciousness. Maybe we, your fans could help you. Maybe we can mail the sh*t out of Handandgo till they remove the items and get the seller to suffer the consequences of his illegal actions. I hereby call out to all who have downloaded a theme from this site. IF not money, we can donate a tiny bit of our time to put together a mail and flood handango's "support", "service" or whatever thst's called.
So what we need is the Order Reference Number and the Product Name for that sack of sh*t copycat so that we can flood them with the relevant information.

I'd say you'd need to take a judgement call:
1. kepp persuing scammers - you might catch one or two, but not all of them!
2. Stop doing what you do for free
3. Keep doing it, for free, and move on!

Wow .. I read all of your post here. I really surprised that there are people like that living.
I really understand how mad you are knowing the fact that sick people take advantage
financially from your work.
You are a wonderful theme-maker. In my N95, there are only original theme from Nokia and from Pizero.net. First time I had my N95 I check other sites, but in the last 6 month, I never check other sites,
just check your site.
If it's easier for me to deliver money, I will buy you a beer .. :)
You really deserve that.
Hopefully I will have a Paypal account in the near future.

There will be always, some people who make money by cheating or by exploiting dumb users... If someone posts, on the ebay, those who pay to get those themes, should have some common sense. They should know that, there ALWAYS ARE free alternatives! If they (those who pay and buy) think that they can get good things, only by paying money, they are the fools....
And as for you worrying, please don't worry about it! It's the way world works and you can do very little about it. As long as there are dumb people, there will be exploiters...
A few measures, which might help you. When installing a theme, you can show that your themes are free and display your site name. You can also embed your site name within your theme (like you've done in some themes).

congratulations! You are now officially part of the successfull set in the world.
People copying, selling, cloning, counterfeiting and generally making money out of your free themes, should make you proud and not sad. Nobody copies a crust... But everyone would love to show off a Gauguin or a Monet or a Botticelli in their living room.
You have to accept the fact that people are more than willing to pay for your free themes (like me for example... remember or long emails about the Silver Theme?) so, exactly for that reason there will be plenty of people that want a piece of the action and will try to steal from you and resell to innocent ignoring folks who just need to have one of your themes.
Rejoice! You are now part of that small group of successful people that can sell their work and not just give it away...
I know it's tough to see your babies being sold on ebay.
But it is a very clear sign of your success so... Ok get mad about it for 5 minutes... smash a few phones on the wall... but then think of all the loyal customers who are reporting to you all illegal actions.
This is what you should focus on.... the good people around you... not the bad ones...
