Finally,from Mr.PiZero the theme i was waiting for...long time: a simple and visible white theme (black chars on white wall) and Flahorn icons pack,to change bored icons of my E66 white steel with similars Nokia standard icons pack.....Grazie!

The digital clock is too small. If you use "." as the time separator, the dot appears below the baseline of the digits. Also the icons in the music player menu don't look right.

The black is fantastic, but doesnt work correctly on FP2 (N96) when a call is incoming, the caller and number is displayed in white text on a white background and is unreadable, therefore cannot tell who is calling.
PLEASE FIX THIS. I love this theme

some of the folder i cons doesn't cahange when i use pizero icons,
can you please fix this ?

Hello Pizero.
I like your pure white Theme very well. Unfortunately i took a big mistake. If i in the contacts or in the calendar a new entry wants to write, is the scripture in white and the background in bright blue. The scripture is thereby unfortunately almost not to recognize. Could you please change? Otherwise, it's all very well. My favorite Theme to time.

happens on most entry fields. i noticed it first in the calendar.

Also, contrast on black can improve. impossible to see selected items and clock with minimum brigthness (who is crazy to use maximum with those damn batteries?)

Great theme Pizero. One minor point tho - caller ID font is white on white background - i cant see whos calling! would be great if this was fixed as i absolutely love this theme!

The themes are free.

All the files are the same theme, the only difference are the icons (nokia
icons - customized icons - flahorn icons).

Hi! Try Nimbuzz (www.nimbuzz.com) instead. Same functionality, better client software (imho). Works flawlessly with the "pure white" theme.

Great themes, I really like the minimalistic approach. Congratulations and thank you for sharing your work with the community. Just a small problem: In detail view of calendar entries highlighted lines have white text on white background. Similar problem with links on numbers in text messages. A minor update would be highly appreciated! Thank you in advance!

Great Skin
I have found small bug (Pure Black) when dialing there is only white background (with white text probably, so it's not possible to see to whom you are dialing).

Hi, I'm 1 of your fan, i downloaded almost all your themes. Currently I had the Pure White on my NOKIA E71. One thing i noticed, when I try to update new or existing contacts I found that when we type the details it seems that the font is white with a white background so it is a bit difficult to update, even then when I have finish updating & moved to another details you can see the details we updated with a black font.

Would appreciate if you could change the font color to black so that it will be easier to check the spelling.

Hei PiZero,

I love the Pure White as it alllows me to use my display as a small flashlight, but as others stated the text colors don't fit.

You simply can't read links/marked stuff in SMS or show calender details, etc. Those are nearly invisble.

It would be nice if you'd be able to fix that.

i´m a regular visitor to your homepage for about half a year now. i really like your work.
i tried the latest pure black and white themes: great - but "the devil is in the detail". ;-)
e.g. using the white theme: when i read e-mails in my inbox, i can´t see phone numbers and e-mail addresses, because it is "white on white" (which is not very useful ;-)). using the black theme, these are shown in yellowish font colour, which is quite a hard contrast. on the other hand the clock is pretty dark ...

In the dial dialog (amongst others) where you can see who is calling or who you are dialling; the text is white on white; so unreadable. Plz make it black on white? (this goes for the Pure Black version, obviously)

Pure Black is a very nice one!! Just one thing... every contact in the contactlist is as black as the background. That makes it not too easy to scroll in the list!

But: keep going!! Love the themes.

Hi,just tried your black theme on my nokia 5800 and looked stunning but in new message when you tap on the letter keys nothing shows up-so you can not see what you are writing,i have found this to be a problem on other themes i have downloaded from mosh site-look foreward to your reply-Ricky

On E71 contacts are written in black text in black bacground if not selected.

Please change these to white etc.

Now only if i had a way to change white or black depending on the time of the day...

my gps does that. from 6am to 6pm it's white on black. the evening hours it's black on white.

a way to do that with those two themes would be awesome :)

Im having trouble installing one of the pure white themes. I had it installed before but i deleted it and now it wont let me install the exact same theme however it is fine with the others (default, flahorn). Do you have any advice that could help me? I really, really like the white theme..and I wish I could use it again. thanks

Hi Pizero, I m saurav from India, a User Interface Designer & Microsoft MVP.

I am using your Pureblack theme with my Nokai N79 & so far it is the best theme I have ever used. I like the icons, flat &2D which really look good on a small mobile screen. I found some bugs in the theme which are already mentioned on your website's comment section. I would like to request you to fix the following.

The digital clock font color is black. It is not clearly visible & hardly visible in sunlight. Kindly make it White color font.

The selection box which comes on hovering over an icon is black. Again black hover on black background isn't visible clearly. Can u make it white.

Make the icons of Music Player sky blue so that on a black background they will look good, & on a white selection box they will still look good next to the text

Being a User Interface & Icon designer myself, I would like to help you with making the themes. I don't know how to make Symbian themes, but I always wanted to have a theme with dark background like Pureblack but with Tango Icons. If you like I can provide you some PSD of mock Design & Tango icons for all the icons of Symbian OS 9.3 Series 60 3.2 UI which is what I have on my Nokia N79. Tango Icons look good at 48pixel which is what these phones with 240X320 pixel resolution use & since they r 2D they are easy to look & work with.

A request, the new icons of Nokia 5800 Xpress Music are also good for a Phone's UI. Can u take those icons, make changes to the pure black theme & release it for Symbian OS 9.3 phones?

After firmware update E71 (200.21.118) contactlist are now visible but..

background-color is white, texts black and selection retangle blue.

Before all was black, expect selected.

It's a problem by nokia, not from my themes. It seems that they made the E71
and E66 to have unique design elements, different from every other themes.
There is a plugin for E71 themes, but I can't make every theme a second time
to let it be compatible with those phones. I also have a life, other than
thememaking :-)

Hi,
the Pure White Theme is my favourite! But still 2 Problems. Some people alredy mentioned:
-Not all Nokia E71 Icons are replaced which looks a bit ugly.
-When i edit a contact in the Adressbook, the highlighted entry (with the blinking cursor) is white letters on white background and not readable.

Can you fix this please?

When I got my phone, i was suprised that every screen had the design/pattern on it, makes it hard to read emails. As I searched for a clean theme, i found hundreds of pictures. Then I found this and it is awesome thank you so much.

"saurav from India" had a nice list of suggestions, and you said the E71 is different enough that it needs some special tweaks. I wonder, would you be willing to share the "source code" for these themes, and point me to the development tools? I would be willing to make some tweaks for the E71.

Are the Theme tools a free download?

So I did download carbide ui and i made my own "pure white" theme, based on an included "start from here" type theme that was included with carbide ui install.
It is pretty good, and doesn't suffer from the "white on white" problem.

hi pizero, aughsum theme.. usin pure black on 5320 (s60v3fp2).

uhm, sum probs, though:
1. white on white: when dialing numbers, when caller id shows up
2. symbols menu: highlighted symbol doesn't show up.

follow-up: am willing to pay for the improved version... i checked out even your premium design though (black diamond) and the problems are still there.. i still prefer "pure black", and am really willing to pay premium for the improvements. hope you have time. this is still the best black them im(h)o, even better than the ones on swmarket. :]

I like your themes very much, especialy pure white, but my cell phone is E71, could you modify pure white to fix E71, the contact and calendar, and one more thing, when I use this theme, edit the number in contact and message, the back color and the word color is almost same, it's difficult to see the number, could you fix this problem also, thank you very much, look forward your new themes.

I made my own version of "Pure White", mostly by taking the default E71 theme and making all the backgrounds a simple white. This fixes many of the issues in PiZero's Pure white, but it does not have the fancy icons. Download it here
